“Blockchain” rapper Money Man was feeling the generous spirit this year. Just days before Christmas, he was in Houston, Texas, where he stopped by a City Gear store to buy not just a pair or two of sneakers, but a whole store in preparation for a gift drive for the. Money jumped on Twitter and TikTok to share the rewarding experience with its followers. “Bought all of the City Gear in Houston for the kids,” he wrote alongside a video that shows stacks of boxes and shoe boxes in different colors, styles and sizes.

In a second video, an employee can be seen stacking all inventory in piles for scanning and exiting the store. When the cameraman asked how much the rapper had dropped inside City Gear, he replied “40 racks” to which a voice behind the camera confirmed, “no cap!”

“Free shoes and clothing for kids in Houston [on] Stop Friday, ”he told his TikTok followers a few days ago, making his generous donation known. HipHop DX reports that the items purchased were for “all single mothers and parents who need children’s shoes.”

An employee confirmed that the Money purchase broke all records, adding, “We’ve never done this before.” On his Instagram, Money also spent the holidays promoting a special NFT offer, which allows shoppers to unlock an exclusive song by the artist called “December 24,” as well as an exclusive hoodie.
